The Washington Redskins wrapped up their first session of Saturday’s rookie minicamp practices, and have another session slated for later this afternoon.
The 10 draft picks, 12 undrafted free agents and 35 tryout players have done their best to cram in as much information as possible, and then carry the lessons from those classroom sessions on to the field.
“Part of the plan is to throw them some information, see how they retain it and then translate the information onto the field, and it’s a challenge for a lot of them,” coach Jay Gruden said.
