Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden has yet to decide which three of his four running backs he will dress for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. For now, his decision will come down to health, but his decision could become more difficult depending on how things play out this week.
The Redskins had hoped that two weeks on the sideline would allow rookie Matt Jones to heal up from a hip pointer suffered in Week 15 against Buffalo. But he remains limited, and so, his status for Sunday remains in doubt.
“Really, we want to play the three healthy backs, and Jones is limited right now,” Gruden said.
