Now that we’ve had more than a few days to cool off from the end of the 2017 season, we can take a look back at it and see what it was. At times, 2017 brought promise and showed flashes of a potential wild card team. Other times, the Redskins looked like they belonged picking in the top five of the draft. The year is over, the record is 7-9, and it will stand that way in the history books.
That said, there’s always context to be added for performances. The team might be one collective entity, but it is made up of several smaller moving parts.
