NFL cuts are finally over. After a Labor Day weekend that saw teams across the league cut over 1,800 players, sign 320 to practice squads, and sprinkle in a few other roster moves, the NFL landscape has changed rapidly. The Redskins were a part of that, and now their 53-man roster is formed, has an identity, and will prepare to face the Cardinals on the road in Week 1.
Of course, with all of the roster moves that were made, there were some surprises. Some were controversial. On a league-wide scale, the Cowboys decision to cut veteran kicker Dan Bailey drew scrutiny.
