ASHBURN — Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson was a fifth-round draft pick in 2013.
After being waived by the Redskins last August, he signed with the team in December and has worked his way to being the team’s third-down back.
The 5-foot-8, 193-pound Thompson is from Greenville, Fla., a no-stoplight town with a population under 1,000 people 40 minutes away from Tallahassee.
