First Quarter

Cincinnati’s offense started the game after Washington kicked off. They quickly faced a 3rd & 2 at the 37-yard line, but a 5-yard scramble by QB Joe Burrow kept the drive moving. Three plays later, on 1st & 10 at the Commanders 41-yard line, Burrow went deep to Jamar Chase, who was wide open, for a touchdown that Chase caught in stride inside the 5-yard line, having run right past rookie CB Mike Sainristil.
