ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins are encouraged by linebacker Keenan Robinson’s progress. They’re still not certain what role he’ll have upon his return.
Robinson is “closer to 100 percent," according to coach Jay Gruden. Robinson is one of four players listed as questionable for Sunday’s game versus the Buffalo Bills.
Gruden said the Redskins will stick with Will Compton and Mason Foster as the starting inside linebackers. The plan has been to keep Compton in the starting lineup regardless. He’s filling Robinson’s role right now, but can play either spot.
