The Washington Redskins open up training camp on Thursday with safety DeAngelo Hall, linebacker Houston Bates, tight end Jordan Reed and wide receiver Kendal Thompson on the Active/Physically unable to Perform (PUP) list.
The designation means players cannot practice with the team, but can attend team meetings and continue to receive treatment from the medical staff.
Hall and Bates are both recovering from torn ACL suffered during the 2016 regular season.
Now the longest tenured player on Washington’s 90-man roster, Hall is entering his 10th season with the Redskins and 14th overall in the NFL.
