Former Redskins great Joe Jacoby has made the list of 15 finalists for the 2016 Hall of Fame class.
Signed by Washington as an undrafted free agent in 1981, Jacoby went on to star at left tackle as a member of the famed “Hogs” offensive line that paved the way for the Redskins to win three Super Bowls. Jacoby, who played for Washington until retiring in 1993, was selected All-Pro three times and earned four Pro Bowl selections.
Prior to this year, Jacoby had ranked among the final 25 Hall of Fame nominees five times. But each time, he missed the cut for the final 15.
