ASHBURN, Va. -- Kirk Cousins had a chance to say it on two different occasions. The first time came after the Washington Redskins' season-finale loss, and the second one was on the quarterback's weekly radio appearance.
Cousins declined to say what others typically say in such a situation: They want to return; they love it here, love the fans, etc., etc.
Cousins was rather dispassionate discussing the situation during his weekly appearance on 106.7 The Fan, with hosts Grant Paulsen and Danny Rouhier on Monday.
“Well, you know, I need to let some time pass right now and just get some objectivity and have a chance to think things through,” he told the hosts.
