Through the 2018 season, all eyes were on Washington Redskins players such as Alex Smith and Adrian Peterson on offense, and Mason Foster and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on defense. Through those four names, and others, the tumultuous state of the 2018 season was embodied.
Now, in 2019, the Redskins look to move on from their 7-9 ways. Some of that transition was forced; no one expected Alex Smith to suffer a career-threatening injury in 2018. Some of it was expected; Adrian Peterson was never meant to be a multi-year starter with younger players in the wings, and Clinton-Dix was a free agent to be, further clouding Washington’s safety situation.
