Every year, NFL teams have a lot of roster turnover. But years in which teams change head coaches, they tend to see even more turnover.
The reason for this? A new coach brings in a new system. Some players don’t fit that new system. Additionally, other players that may have been favored by a previous coaching staff may not fit as well with the new staff. And free agents that the staff isn’t as familiar with often walk.
With Ron Rivera now in charge, the ‘Skins are one of the teams that should see a lot of turnover.
