The Washington Redskins thumped the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, and in so doing, rebounded from an ugly loss at New England the week before.
Operating like a well-oiled machine, Washington had its best performance both on offense and defense and treated the home crowd to the most lopsided victory that the franchise has enjoyed since 2005.
Here are five observations from yesterday’s game after a second look this morning:
1. Improved O-line play – Yes, you have to take everything you saw on offense with a grain of salt, because it came against a very bad Saints defense, whose coordinator might or might not have been fired today.
