FedEx Ground Moment: Chris Thompson's 38-Yard Run

In the Redskins’ four games before Sunday’s 47-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints, they didn’t surpass 52 yards as a team at any point.

Chris Thompson got more than that on his own Sunday, and he was just the team’s third leading rusher.

Of his 54 yards, 38 came on one run in the second quarter.

On 1st and 10 from their own 43-yard line, quarterback Kirk Cousins handed it off to the third-year Florida State product.

Thompson quickly burst passed the initial line of defense before cutting up field and gaining a total of 38 yards.
