Alfred Morris became just the sixth player in franchise history to rush for at least 4,000 yards Sunday afternoon against the Miami Dolphins.
Morris – now in his fourth season with the Redskins – needed just 38 yards to surpass the 4,000 yard mark and wasted no time getting there as he rushed for 34 yards on Washington’s first drive of the day.
He joins John Riggins, Clinton Portis, Larry Brown, Stephen Davis and Terry Allen as the only backs in the Redskins' 4,000-yard club.
The Florida Atlantic product finished the game with 25 carries for 121 yards in the Redskins' 17-10 loss.
