LANDOVER, Md. -- The tough part for the Washington Redskins, especially right after the game, involved doing something they weren’t equipped yet to fully do. And that is to look ahead.
But after a crushing 19-16 loss to Dallas, the Redskins had little choice. If they don’t look forward, they’ll get caught from behind thanks to an emotional loss on a night where they did a lot right on one side of the ball – and it still wasn’t enough.
Looking ahead, though, was difficult in the immediate aftermath. That’s one reason linebacker Ryan Kerrigan struggled to find the right words to describe how this loss felt.
