The Redskins named Doug Williams senior vice president of player personnel, team president Bruce Allen announced Tuesday.
The Redskins also made Kyle Smith, a former area scout who most recently covered the Southeast, director of college scouting.
Scott Campbell, the former director of college scouting, was made senior personnel executive.
Williams, 61, quarterbacked the Redskins to a 42-10 rout of the Denver Broncos in the 1988 Super Bowl.
