Wide receiver DeSean Jackson sat out Wednesday’s practice with a bruised left knee cap after injuring himself during the second half of Washington’s win over Chicago on Sunday.
Coach Jay Gruden said on Monday that he still believed it’s possible that Jackson could play this week against the Buffalo Bills, but a determination will not be made until later in the week.
Also sidelined for Wednesday’s practice were defensive end Jason Hatcher, who generally receives the first practice day of the week off to receive additional treatment on his chronically sore knees and also has suffered from a pinched nerve in his neck, and linebacker Perry Riley Jr.
