Asked if longevity was in the back of his mind after getting snaps at free safety in Sunday’s 47-14 rout of New Orleans, Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall batted down the suggestion like a would-be touchdown pass.
“I’m not gonna try to go play safety just to try to extend my career,” said Hall, 31, who earned three Pro Bowl honors as a cornerback with Atlanta and Washington. “I’m gonna go play safety just to be a damn good safety.
