Former Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall revealed he received a three-year, $27 million offer from the New England Patriots before re-signing with Washington in 2009.
Hall instead accepted a six-year, $54 million deal from the Redskins, who he joined in 2008 after the Oakland Raiders released him. The Pro Bowl cornerback remained with the Redskins until his retirement after the 2017 season.
If Hall had joined the Patriots, perhaps he could have won a Super Bowl — an accomplishment missing from the 35-year-old’s storied resume.
One of my favorite segments in months. DeAngelo Hall tells us the Patriots offered him 3 years, $27 million after the 2008 season.
