DeAngelo Hall and DeSean Jackson leave practice with injuries; team hopes neither is serious

RICHMOND — A couple of starters gave the Washington Redskins a scare as they left Thursday morning’s joint practice with the Houston Texans with injuries.

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall (groin, knee) and wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder) both were being evaluated for injuries Thursday afternoon, but the hope was that neither serious in nature.

Jackson hurt his right shoulder during the first play of 1-on-1 drills. He fell out of bounds, landing on his shoulder and was slow to get up. Trainers evaluated him and he soon had his shoulder wrapped in ice.

Jackson declined to speak to reporters following practice, and a team spokesman said that Jackson would do so after he had been further evaluated.
