The House Oversight and Reform Committee has scheduled an interview with Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder for later this week, but the procedural move does guarantee the deposiiton will actually take place.
The committee and Snyder are still at an impasse over the format of the question-and-answer session that is penciled-in for Thursday, a source with knowledge of the situation said. Snyder’s lawyer first proposed to the panel that her client could remotely testify July 28 on a voluntary basis, but while the committee was open to the date, Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney insisted that the embattled billionaire do so under a subpoena.
