At the start of training camp, head coach Dan Quinn laid out his plan for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels to the media as training camp and preseason evolved. His evaluation of Daniels during practices, scrimmages, and preseason games would determine Daniels's path and give the necessary information to his coaches to determine his readiness to start. Essentially, when they know, they'll know. For us on the outside, it's a pretty standard, non-insightful plan that Quinn intentionally fed to the media. Alternatively, whatever the full scope of their plan was internally, Quinn has been pretty impressed with Daniels to this point.
