The Washington Commanders trimmed their roster down to 53 players in Tuesday, and continued making changes today. Assistant general manager Lance Newmark spoke to reporters before today's practice and talked about the massive roster overhaul that the team glass undergone. He talked about his relationship with GM Adam Peters who appeared on Grant and Danny later that afternoon.
Head coach Dan Quinn and rookie starting quarterback Jayden Daniels took questions from the media after practice. Washington added former Houston Texans WR Noah Brown after he was released and Daniels is already working with him after practice to get him up to speed on Kliff Kingsbury's new offense.
