Cut on foot prevented Colt McCoy from practicing on Monday

Backup quarterback Colt McCoy suffered a cut on one of his feet over the weekend, and that injury prevented him from being able to practice on Monday.

McCoy wore sneakers and a ball cap along with his jersey and only watched as the Redskins went through practice. He rode an equipment cart down to the practice field and walked slowly while watching his teammates.

Coach Jay Gruden declined to give any details on the nature of the injury that McCoy had suffered because league rules don’t require teams to release injury reports until Wednesday if they don’t play until the following Sunday.
