The Washington Redskins have been fairly inactive since free agency began last Wednesday. They’ve added just one player from outside the organization, former San Diego Chargers defensive end Kendall Reyes, who signed a one-year deal last Friday.
Other than, the Redskins have been focused on retaining their own players. That trend continued on Monday when they re-signed cornerback Will Blackmon to a two-year deal, according to a person familiar with the situation. Terms of Blacmon’s contract were not immediately available.
Since last Wednesday, the Redskins retained quarterback Colt McCoy, inside linebacker Mason Foster, nose tackle Kedric Golston, strong safety Duke Ihenacho, punter Tress Way and tight end Logan Paulsen.
