The Washington Commanders are preparing for their Week 2 matchup against the New York Giants with a few players dealing with injuries. Emmanuel Forbes Jr injured his thumb during the Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers. He was pulled from yesterday’s practice and he had surgery for a torn UCL today. Dan Quinn said that he’s not expected to miss a lot of time, but he’s out this week and won’t be placed on injured reserve. Noah Igbinoghene played last week, and will be the first reserve up, with Michael Davis also getting playing time
