Washington Redskins wide receiver Cody Latimer appeared in court Monday in Douglas County, Colorado after he was arrested over the weekend for allegedly firing off a gun following an argument at a poker game.
Latimer made his appearance virtually, appearing on a video call. The 27-year-old faces three felony (assault in the second degree, menacing and illegal discharge of a firearm) and two misdemeanor (prohibited use of weapons and reckless endangerment) charges.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Latimer had gotten into a confrontation with a card player during a poker game in which the two had been drinking at the apartment of Roderick English, Latimer’s friend.
