ASHBURN — Chris Thompson sustained a torn labrum in Monday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys and could be in jeopardy of missing Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
The Washington Redskins’ running back entered Monday’s game with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder. Coach Jay Gruden said the injuries were unrelated, though it is unclear if they occurred in the same shoulder.
“He can play with that, possibly, if he has enough strength and the swelling and the pain goes down,” Gruden said on Wednesday. “So we’re concerned about Chris a little bit.
“That’s a tough position.
