Washington Redskins cornerback Chris Culliver pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors in June in order to resolve a case in which he hit a bicyclist, fled the scene, then threatened a citizen with brass knuckles in Santa Clara, California in March 2014.
Culliver’s attorney requested that the single felony count of possession of brass knuckles be reduced, and the judge in the case granted that request. In June, when the case was resolved, Culliver pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of brass knuckles and misdemeanor hit-and-run, according to Santa Clara County deputy district attorney Jaron Shipp.
