Chris Culliver placed on injured reserve, Bashaud Breeland questionable

ASHBURN — The Washington Redskins placed Chris Culliver on injured reserve after the cornerback tore his ACL and MCL in his right knee during Thursday’s practice.

Culliver is the 10th Redskins player to be placed on injured reserve this season.

“He’s a good player for us and obviously you hate to lose good players,” coach Jay Gruden said. “Unfortunately it happened. It was just a fluke deal. He went up for a ball and landed on it and tore it. These other guys have to step up.”

Cornerbacks Bashaud Breeland and Deshazor Everett, and inside linebacker Keenan Robinson are all questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.
