ASHBURN, Va. --The Washington Redskins remain devoid of major injuries, but two players continue to be plagued with minor issues.
Defensive end Chris Baker was limited in practice because of rib and elbow issues while fellow end Kendall Reyes did not practice because of a sore groin. Baker did not wear a helmet, but did go through some individual work Thursday.
But Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he was confident that Baker, their best defensive lineman, would play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
“I think he’ll be ready,” Gruden said. “We have another day or two to figure it out, but he’s a pretty tough guy as we all know and he should be good to go.
