It’s been a good week for Chris Baker. The Washington Redskins defensive end has been preparing for his second career playoff game, and he also became a father on Thursday. He missed practice to be with his wife, Jamila, as she gave birth to a baby girl, Aria, the couple’s first child.
“I was always excited about being able to be a dad,” said Baker, who returned to practice on Friday. “I woke up in the morning, wife was a little nervous, but I had my parents. Her mom was there, so they drove her over to the hospital.
