The Washington Redskins are going to be in the market for some veteran quarterback depth this offseason. While the team will have Dwayne Haskins and Alex Smith under contract for the season, there is no guarantee that Smith will be healthy enough to start the season. So, the Redskins need to hedge their bets and add another backup-caliber quarterback to the roster just in case.
The team does have two quarterbacks from last year’s team set to hit free agency in Case Keenum and Colt McCoy. The odds of the team retaining McCoy, a Jay Gruden favorite who struggled in limited action last year, are low.
