Bryan Stork brings 'mean streak, health questions, versatility' to Redskins

ASHBURN, Va., -- The Washington Redskins' newest player could end up competing for a starting job, if all goes right for him that is. Bryan Stork hasn't even practiced with the team yet, has battled multiple concussions, and his old team, New England, no longer wanted him. So he has a few hurdles to overcome.

But the Redskins believe, if nothing else, he gives them stronger depth at center -- and possibly someone who could push starter Kory Lichtensteiger for the starting job. It remains to be seen if that's how it unfolds, but the Redskins traded a conditional seventh-round pick for him because there's a belief he could become a longer-term answer at the position.
