ARLINGTON, Va. -- Washington Redskins president Bruce Allen said they’re getting close to finalizing their front office situation. But whether they hire a general manager to replace the fired Scot McCloughan remains uncertain.
Allen said they’ve met with a dozen people from outside the organization, in addition to interviewing internal candidates. Allen said they’re going to add at least one person and possibly as many as three. He was not clear on what sort of power the top hire would have. It also could be that the Redskins promote from within, but hire someone else in personnel.
