Bruce Allen: Redskins won’t change name to move back to D.C.

Washington Redskins president Bruce Allen was asked on Monday if they would be willing to change the name of the organization in order to have to opportunity to build a new stadium in Washington D.C. after politicians recently made it clear they won’t be allowed move back to our nation’s capital if they keep the name “Redskins.”

“No,” Allen said, per The Washington Post.

Allen also said the following about a building a new stadium, per Mike Jones of The Post.

Allen says Redskins have had “great conversations” with all of the localities that they possibly have a stadium.
