Brian Quick: The Redskins’ free agent signing no one is talking about

Terrelle Pryor and Josh Doctson are receiving the most attention of the Redskins’ receivers, and with good reason. Each comes into 2017 with heightened expectations and even higher stakes. But one player with starter potential has flown under the radar as of late: former Los Angeles Rams receiver Brian Quick.

On March 24, Brian Quick signed a one-year, $775,000 deal with the Redskins. A contract fit for a player on the roster fringe. But Quick isn’t your average project player. A former second-round pick, Quick boasts a 6-foot-4 frame, underrated athleticism, and is coming off a career season in which he caught passes from the woeful duo of Jared Goff and Case Keenum.
