Best potential Trent Williams trade partners for Redskins to look into

The Washington Redskins finally seem ready to let Trent Williams move on. After a feud that has dragged on for nine months, the team is reportedly letting him seek out a potential trade ahead of 2020 NFL free agency.

At this point in time, this is a prudent course of action for the ‘Skins. Williams missed all of last season amid a holdout related to a “medical scare” he dealt with during the offseason and is also likely due a pay raise over the $12.5 million he is set to make this year. The team doesn’t seem willing to pay him a top-dollar deal at tackle, so trying to offload him for assets is the right choice.
