Redskins running back Alfred Morris embellished an already impressive résumé with his game-high 121 rushing yards on 25 carries in Sunday’s 17-10 loss to Miami.
It was the 12th 100-yard rushing game of Morris’s four-year career, tying him with Earnest Byner, Terry Allen and George Rogers for fifth-most in Redskins history.
It also put him over the 4,000-yard career mark among Redskins backs, placing him in an elite club of six that’s rounded out by John Riggins, Clinton Portis, Larry Brown, Stephen Davis and Terry Allen. With four more yards, Morris (4,083) will surpass Allen (4,086) for the fifth-most rushing yards in Redskins history.
