Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris thanked the team and the fans for some great memories in an Instagram post. The Redskins will allow Morris to test the free agent market so more than likely he won’t be with the team much longer.
Alfred Morris was never flashy just effective. Morris was a sixth round draft pick in 2012. He moved quickly to the top of the depth chart and never missed a game in his four seasons. He made 64 consecutive starts and was a workhorse on the ground over that time.
Morris currently ranks fifth on the Redskins all-time rushing list with 4,713 yards.
