Alfred Morris reaches the century mark for the second time this season

ARLINGTON, Tex. — A frustrating regular season ended on a positive note for running back Alfred Morris.

The fourth-year veteran Sunday carried the ball 19 times for 100 yards, averaging 5.3 yards a carry in the Redskins’ 34-23 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

It marked only the second time this season that Morris reached the 100-yard mark — the last time coming in Week 1 when he gained 121 yards on 25 carries. Since then, Morris reached 92 yards on 15 carries in Week 10, but otherwise, hadn’t managed more than 84 yards (Week 15) while averaging a career-low 3.
