LANDOVER, Md. -- Five observations on the Washington Redskins’ offense after their 20-14 win over the New York Giants Sunday:
I pinged Jordan Reed for his blocking after the game and it was well deserved. But he deserves kudos for his route-running and ability to get open. Reed showed that ability on one of the bigger plays of the game, a third-and-5 on the Redskins’ final drive. With the Giants in man coverage, and using safety Craig Dahl (mismatch), the Redskins cleared out the middle of the field.
