RICHMOND, Virginia -- He learned to walk again, battled the boredom and depression of rehab, attacked the recovery process, posted videos showing his progress and proclaimed his excitement for the season. And then Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette was forced to repeat the entire scenario.
It's hard enough to return as a player from one Achilles injury, Galette must do so after two. Not that Galette is the same player he was before his first one; he's convinced that he's better. He's lighter, a better student of the game. He's also trying to set an example for anyone who might someday find themselves in a similar spot.
