Adrian Peterson dislocated shoulder vs. Saints

NEW ORLEANS — The Redskins offense wasn’t able to do much against the Saints in Monday’s 43-19 loss. And unfortunately for them, the unit didn’t come out completely healthy either.

Running back Adrian Peterson will receive an MRI for a shoulder strain, while Chris Thompson suffered a rib injury. Wideout Paul Richardson also suffered a knee strain and tight end Vernon Davis hurt his hamstring.

The injuries are the latest for an already banged-up group. Receiver Josh Doctson missed Monday’s game with a heel injury and there are multiple players hurt along the offensive line. Left guard Shawn Lauvao has missed the last two games with a calf injury, and guard Brandon Scherff (knee) and Trent Williams (knee) have been playing through pain.
