Reed is running and, more importantly, cutting as effortlessly as he ever has. It must be noted that Reed is not doing everything he will need to do to when he gets back on the field for games. But it’s so far, so good with him.
But let’s not blow it up into a reason for panic, either. For one thing, an injury that keeps a player out of training camp practice may not be severe enough to keep him out of a regular season game. Had this injury happened during a Sunday game, perhaps Payne would be limited in practice during the week and playing the next Sunday.
