While the attention has been on what the Redskins will do with the fifth overall pick, the success of their draft will depend just as much on what they do with the rest of their picks. Quality players can be found in the second, third and fourth rounds, while the later rounds can produce key special-team contributors and role players that every good team needs. Washington hasn’t had a great deal of success in their later-round draft picks in recent times, leading to a lack of talent and depth on the roster.
