Last season, the wide receiver position was arguably the weakest unit on the Redskins team. Well, that is, before the injuries hit. Post-injuries, all the units were weak. But from start to finish, no group was thinner top to bottom than the receiving corps.
Josh Doctson was supposed to make the leap last season. Paul Richardson was supposed to add a deep threat to the offense. Neither of those things came to fruition, as Doctson was just okay while Richardson struggled with injuries and inconsistency when on the field.
Moving forward, the Redskins have a lot of questions at the position.
