The college season was significantly shortened, the opportunities for in-person scouting significantly reduced this year, and the Combine has been cancelled. In light of all those facts, the Reese’s Senior Bowl becomes one of the few opportunities for NFL front office staff to gather in person and talk with each other “off the record” as well as watch some of the top college talent up close and in person. Today’s contest will feature some potential Day 1 talent, such as Mac Jones and Alex Leatherwood, but will really be a showcase for potential Day 2 and 3 draft risers.
