Cornerback Josh Norman has agreed to a five-year, $75 million deal with the Washington Redskins, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport:

According to Pro Football Talk, $50 million of that money is guaranteed.
Norman was surprising released by the Carolina Panthers earlier this week after he refused to sign the franchise tag. He was seeking a long-term deal worth $16-$17 million a year, which would make him the highest-paid cornerback in the league. Carolina didn't want to meet that asking price, so they let him walk instead.
The 28-year-old Norman was arguably the breakout start of the 2015 NFL season, leading a Panthers defense that ranked among the best in the league. He recorded 56 tackles with three forced fumbles and four interceptions (two returned for TDs) while leading the NFL with 18 passes defensed.
The New Orleans Saints made a late push to sign him on Friday, and but Washington was ultimately able to get the deal done.
